HR Benefits Educational Video Library Now Available to Employers

Online Educational Benefits Videos to Supplement Enrollment Information

2012-10-12
HOPKINTON, MA, October 12, 2012 (Press-News.org) FlimpBenefits, a leading provider of online video communications solutions for HR and employee benefits announced the availability of its HR Benefits Video Education Library for license by employers and benefits brokers. The video library consists of short, high quality educational videos on sixteen (16) common HR and health benefits topics such as Cobra, HSA, FSA, FMLA, PTO and more.

The HR benefits video library was produced for employers that want to reduce time consuming calls and questions about misunderstood topics related to employment matters and annual employee benefits enrollment. The videos are available for license from FlimpBenefits, and include software for online website hosting, distribution and viewer tracking. The employer license cost per video ranges from $125 to $400 per annum depending on the number of videos licensed and the number of employees within an organization.

The benefits of having an educational library on hand for employees to reference during their enrollment period can range from a more efficient HR department, to a higher overall enrollment participation level. "During the enrollment period, video is best used to increase enrollment participation and educate employees about complex benefits plan offerings," according to "Communicating Employee Benefits with Video", a benefits communications whitepaper released by Flimp Media in June 2012.

"As health insurance costs keep rising, employees are being asked to pay a larger share of the their health benefits costs. This means they have to be more informed about benefits plan options and more engaged in the decision making process than ever before. Video is a great way for employers to deliver on demand benefits information to employees. Much more effective than print brochures and static websites." said Wayne Wall, CEO of Flimp Media, Inc. "The videos also reduce the number of questions and time consuming calls to the benefits department during open enrollment, while helping employees and their spouses make better, more informed decisions in terms of benefit elections."
