Southwest Media Group Announces Immersion 2013 Digital Summit

Experiential technology and new media event will be Feb. 6-7 in Dallas.

DALLAS, TX, October 16, 2012 (Press-News.org) Southwest Media Group, the Southwest's premier media services company, will host its fourth-annual digital summit, "Immersion 2013: Explore Your Digital Soul," Feb. 6-7, 2013, at The House of Blues in Dallas.

The event's condensed educational platform exposes attendees to a wide variety of emerging technologies, services and thought leaders in one setting. It combines speaker presentations, hands-on technology immersion sessions and fireside chats, as well as panel discussions and "ignite" mini presentations.

"Explore Your Digital Soul is a unique experiential immersion into digital technology and new media and their implications for the future of communications and media," said Chief Strategic Officer Steve Thomas. "We look at what the best and brightest companies in the digital space are doing now, as well as examine emerging technologies in a way that helps marketers understand the vast choices before them and the best way to use them."

Last year's summit, themed "Find Your Digital Soul," drew 250+ attendees and more than 20 key leading digital technology companies. It also featured a keynote address from James McQuivey, Ph.D., a business and media analyst from Forrester Research who is frequently tapped as an expert source by The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.
