Sub Zero Ice Cream & Yogurt is very pleased to announce the public grand opening of Florida's first Sub Zero Ice Cream & Yogurt Creamery to be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012. Sub Zero will be located in the Expo on Clark (4065 Clark Rd, Sarasota, FL).

Sub Zero Ice Cream is eager to introduce Sarasota, and Florida, to its thrilling cryogenic ice cream that uses molecular gastronomy to freeze individual portions of ice cream in front of each customer. Unlike regular scoop shops that pre-freeze ice cream and display pre-determined flavors, Sub Zero Ice Cream allows customers to customize their ice cream using the natural properties of liquid nitrogen and fresh ingredients.

Brad Lord, Gabe Ramsey and Don Wirth Sub Zero's newest franchise owners looks forward to opening the first Sub Zero Ice Cream & Yogurt creamery in Florida.

"It is totally cool to walk in and see billowing fog rolling off the counter as designer ice cream is being made with the freshest of ingredients and cryogenically frozen," Wirth says. He goes on to explain, " We have a ground breaking system that makes an incredibly smooth product."

Sub Zero Ice Cream & Yogurt makes frozen desserts made-to-order, giving the customer the freedom to customize each and every ingredient and satisfy any craving. That means customers can order, for example, a crunchy mocha premium ice cream with English toffee and almonds, or order a soft-frozen raspberry soy with mixed berries and chocolate flakes swirled in. With 8 bases, 40 flavors, and 35 mix-ins, the possibilities are virtually endless!

On Friday October 19h, the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce will honor Sub Zero Ice Cream & Yogurt with their official ribbon cutting at 5:30 pm.

On Saturday, October 20, the public Grand Opening will run from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Sub Zero has partnered with our new neighbors in the Expo on Clark. Many will open their doors and are offering special promotions to help us celebrate. Sub Zero will be offering Free samples of our most popular creations.

Lord, Wirth and Ramsey are Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. They are all three passionate about giving back to the community. As Lord states, " I have two passions,the love of helping people and the love of seeing others happy." Sub Zero is dedicated to the community and has partnered with Suncoast blood services. The first 25 donors will receive a certificate for free Sub Zero Ice-Cream.

Sub Zero Ice Cream also offers catering. With its completely transportable inventory and cryogenic show, it is an entertaining way to serve high quality customized ice cream at corporate events, birthday parties, weddings, or any celebration.

Sub Zero also conducts high-energy educational assemblies in schools to teach students of all ages about the fun nature of chemistry, the atmosphere, the properties of nitrogen and its application to the world around us.
