Smart Shorties Presents New smartPortal Digital Platform

smartPortal provides a digital interactive learning device for students, teachers, and administrators to access Smart Shorties content

2012-10-24
JUPITER, FL, October 24, 2012 (Press-News.org) Smart Shorties, leader in educational hip-hop tools, launches new smartPortal. An all-digital subscription based platform that allows access to all of the Smart Shorties content including music, books, videos and more at a low cost. A fun and interactive approach has proven as the most effective way to engage today's student.

Smart Shorties combines popular hit songs with educational lyrics to quickly teach children their math facts. Multiplications tables and the recent release of the new fractions album are among the success. Science and language arts education are coming soon. The songs are catchy and familiar, which guarantees that children will learn the content and have fun while doing so.

A smartPortal site license allows anyone within a school to use the digital content for an entire year. Monthly subscriptions are also available for individuals to buy if their school does not use the Smart Shorties smartPortal. For five dollars a month, the gold subscription provides users with all of the songs and their lyrics. For seven dollars a month, the platinum subscription includes everything in the gold subscription plus, karaoke videos, exclusive Smart Shorties songs, "Smart Shorties- The Movie," Smart Shorties Club membership for a child or student, discounts on apparel, and invitations to exclusive events. A five day complimentary trail is available to all schools, districts, teachers and faculty.

Alex Nesmith, president and co- founder of Smart Shorties explained, "With schools and school districts being asked to do more with less, I created the smartPortal so students would be able to master multiplication and fractions for pennies. These are critical skills they need in order to progress to higher math." Alex also describes the benefits of his product, "It allows students to learn while doing what they love the most...listening to music! They can watch movies and videos inside the smartPortal as much as they want right from their iPod, iPad, Android smartphone, laptop, etc. It's giving them the information they need, in the format they enjoy."

For more information on Smart Shorties or to receive the complimentary five day trial of the smartPortal, visit: http://www.smartshorties.com.
