The new site offers management tips, optometrist success stories and a no-charge practice management seminar, available to practice owners by request, on DVD or online.

"Although optometrists are highly trained professionals," says Barbara Wilson, president of Sterling, "they are not necessarily taught how to manage a practice or staff. As a result, many optometrists want to take their practices to the next level but don't know how. Others have issues finding and retaining good staff. Our goal is to help optometrists have better practices which, in turn, helps them have better lives."

Site visitors can sign up for weekly management tips on how to hire quality staff, how to motivate staff to increase productivity, and how to schedule appointments for greater profitability.
