Wisconsin Plastic Surgery Practice Welcomes New Doctor
2012-10-26
OSHKOSH, WI, October 26, 2012 (Press-News.org) One of the hallmarks of Fox Valley Plastic Surgery is its aim to provide unmatched comprehensive care in one state-of-the-art location. In order to continue achieving that objective and to expand the number of specialties the practice offers, founder David Janssen, M.D., and William Doubek, M.D. (who joined the practice in 1998) have welcomed Marc Serret, M.D., into the practice.

"It's an honor to partner with two accomplished surgeons like Dr. Janssen and Dr. Doubek," says Dr. Serret. "The high value that Fox Valley Plastic Surgery puts on patient care really resonates with me. Their concern for a person's dignity, comfort and health are evident in the practice that they've built here." The plastic surgery center in Oshkosh serves Appleton, and other Fox Valley communities. It features a cosmetic and reconstructive surgery facility, a medical spa, and discreet private parking.

Dr. Serret, who has specialized training in the fields of hair transplantation, migraine treatment, and endoscopic forhead rejuvenation (brow lift), received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed the highly competitive integrated residency program at Case Western Reserve University, which allowed him to focus on plastic and reconstructive surgery in a 6 year format. Dr. Serret has written about and presented on a number of surgical topics and contributed to multiple studies. He has received numerous honors from various organizations and universities.

"The addition of Dr. Serret to our Oshkosh plastic surgery center enhances our ability to provide comprehensive care. Patients in the Fox Cities no longer have to seek migraine surgery and hair transplant procedures in Appleton, Milwaukee or Green Bay," Dr. Janssen says.

In addition to Fox Valley Plastic Surgery, Dr. Serret currently holds staff appointments as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, Wisconsin, Appleton Medical Center in Appleton, and at Mercy Medical Center and Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. Dr. Serret demonstrates his artistry, creativity, attention to detail and intelligence in other areas as well. He has been a pianist for nearly three decades, and he is fluent in Spanish and has served as a volunteer medical translator. He is a devoted husband and father of two children.

"We are thrilled to have Dr. Serret join our team at Fox Valley Plastic Surgery," says Dr. Doubek, "and I know our patients will benefit from his skill and experience, as well as his attentiveness and concern for their well-being."

At Fox Valley Plastic Surgery in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, plastic surgery specialists Dr. David Janssen, Dr. William Doubek and Dr. Marc Serret serve men and women from Appleton, Green Bay and Marquette. In addition to cosmetic surgery procedures, such as breast augmentation and tummy tucks, the practice offers nonsurgical solutions, such as laser hair removal and vein treatments, through its Renaissance MediSpa. Dr. Serret, who has specialized training in migraine surgery and hair transplantation, completed the integrated residency program at Case Western Reserve University. He is the only physician in the Fox Valley performing migraine surgery, as well as endoscopic forehead rejuvenation. Dr. Janssen is a graduate of University of Wisconsin Medical School and received his plastic surgery training at George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Doubek is a graduate of St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed residencies in general surgery and plastic surgery at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine.
