CAMBRIDGE, ENGLAND, October 12, 2010 (Press-News.org) Dan Beesden was what you might call 'bully-bait' at highschool, something he openly admits to nowadays. Scrawny, lanky with barely an ounce of muscle on him, he would spend most days avoiding the attention of those at school who wanted to make his life a misery, and his lack of physique continued into his early adult years.
"What I enjoyed the most was meeting people I hadn't seen in years", chuckles Dan. "It's awful to admit it, but it gives you a real sense of pride to see people's jaws drop at the results. And everyone wants to know how I did it, they're always shocked when I tell them."
This may not seem like news to most, but the way he achieved his fantastic results might surprise people. Weight loss and bodybuilding information is all over the Internet, and that was what triggered Dan to get himself online. Good information, and putting that good information into practice is the foundation of any solid health plan, and a bit of help from some experts goes a long way too.
Dan took masterclasses from experts in the fitness niche and focused 100% on achieving his goals. On top of that, he made a bet with a long-term friend of his that when he'd got into shape, they would square-off in the boxing ring to find out if he'd really gone from super-scrawny to super-fit. It took effort, but by applying techniques from a team of people who know fitness better than anyone, the results were incredible, and came a lot quicker than even he had imagined. He now trains at the local boxing gym several times a week, and is even running rings around his trainer.
So did Dan beat his friend in the end?
"He's yet to face me!", laughs Dan. "Which I think gives me the victory anyway. If I can coax him into the ring I'll let you know, but for now I'm just happy to be the shape I am, and to know that I'm fit and healthy for the long-term. That's good enough for me."
If you want to know how a high-school loser could turn it all around to become a health inspiration, take a look at the free blog he created to help others, http://oneweekworkout.blogspot.com
Dan Beesden has worked in the fitness niche for years and helped many people with their weight loss goals. He runs a regular blog aimed at better educating and informing people who are trying to take control of their weight and general health and fitness. He hopes to reach more people online, and help to minimise the obesity problems currently being experienced by millions of people worldwide.
