MIAMI, FL, October 27, 2012
Ilene Munoz, RPA, General Manager of 600 Brickell at Brickell World Plaza has been awarded the 2012 Movers and Shakers Award by South Florida Business Leader Magazine. The award honors up and coming business leaders in the region. She was recognized along with 30 other winners from 500 nominees from various industries at a ceremony on October 16, 2012."Ilene is blazing a new trail in commercial real estate management because 600 Brickell is like no other Class-A building. It's location in the heart of the business district and its amenities certainly create a unique sense of place," said Tracy Story, president of leasing and management for Foram Group.
"However, the building's intricate and redundant technology and security systems completely redefine the role and complexity of a general manager. We are proud of Ilene's professional accomplishments and of this recognition."
In addition to managing the 40-story, high-tech building, Munoz has spearheaded a number of community relations initiatives aimed at branding Brickell World Plaza as the newest venue for community gatherings, cultural events and entertainment. In the last few months Brickell World Plaza has hosted free monthly, "Movies on the Plaza," a community-building program, where the public is invited to enjoy a night out on the 30,000 square-foot plaza. Additionally Munoz has created a signature holiday event where the community can come together to support local non-profit organizations at Brickell Avenue's premier food and wine festival, Savor the Season, scheduled for November, 17, 2012.
Munoz is a graduate of BOMI International and Sobelshon School of Real Estate in New York and has been a licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Associate since 1997. She earned her BOMI International's RPA (Real Property Administrator) designation in 2002. She is a member of BOMA, Miami-Dade Chapter and lives in Palmetto Bay.
About 600 Brickell at Brickell World Plaza
In the heart of Miami's downtown/financial district, 600 Brickell was designed by the global architecture firm RTKL and will feature a 30,000-square-foot ground-level plaza and public gathering place, ground-floor retail and 600,000 square feet of rentable office space.

As a Cisco Connected Commercial Office Building in partnership with Cisco Systems, Inc., 600 Brickell will offer a growing suite of data, voice, video and security solutions for tenants over one IP network, and an on-site Information and Communications Technology (ICT) team.
600 Brickell offers superior on-site amenities such as an HD video conference center, flexible meeting space, a 14th floor outdoor terrace, reception facilities, and a private gym with sweeping 14th floor views.
