Horizon Forest Products and Long Floor Announce Recent Corporate Merger

New move will allow company to strengthen branding in competitive hardwood products market

RALEIGH, NC, October 30, 2012 (Press-News.org) Horizon Forest Products and Long Floor are proud to announce their recent merger. The two companies, which have been working logistically as one company for five years, will now operate under one name, Horizon Forest Products.

The merger will legally seam together the five branches of Horizon Forest Products and the four branches of Long Floor. The company's nine branches serve customers from Maryland to South Carolina. Horizon Forest Products recently opened its newest branch in Sterling, Virginia. The facility is, located at 113 Executive Drive, Suite 129, occupies 14,000 square feet and will serve flooring customers in the Northern Virginia area.

Company Vice President, David Williams, says that operating the company under one company name will help streamline business operations and maximize efficiency and productivity. It will also allow the company to strengthen its brand within a highly-competitive hardwood products industry.

"Combining our two companies will make things easier for everyone," explains Williams. "One name for what is essentially one company is simply the best thing to do for everyone. Horizon Forest Products employs over 100 people and operates in North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia.
