2012-10-31
CARLSBAD, CA, October 31, 2012 (Press-News.org) Businessfriend, a new professional networking site has gone live with their beta site. The site is a digital eco-system that operates under their signature BUSI platform (Business Utility with a Social Identity) that aids individuals and organizations in reaching personal and professional success. The sites key features emphasize on communication, networking, organization, and productivity.

VP of Product Development, Freddie Pierce was hands on in developing the site and has been vocal about the need to encourage productivity, "When we designed the site, we tried to envision what people need in order to succeed. We didn't focus on what they would use the most, or what they would like, but what would result in productivity. We want to see people succeed, and the only way to do that is to fulfill the needs of a productive individual."

The features released in phase one of the site focus on corporate, personal, and group profiles. This includes the use of Businessfriend's exclusive tools such as Digidex, Timeline, Doc Manager and Rememo. Both individuals and corporations are able to create profiles to interact within their personally designed eco-system to increase productivity and get BUSI.

Phase two focuses on colleges and universities. Businessfriend has designed a unique platform for colleges and universities to engage with their students in hope of increasing productivity and ultimately helping them reach their academic goals. Some of the features designed specifically for college students are group pages, scholarship opportunities, and internships.

Businessfriend CEO Glen White says, "Our goal is to help individuals succeed. Whether it's a corporate executive, a college student, or a small business owner, we believe that Businessfriend has something for everybody."

Expect to see more features in phase three, released first quarter of next year.
