MIAMI, FL, November 01, 2012 (Press-News.org) SSI's 7th annual conference will be held at the Gaylord Palms and feature speakers such as Congresswoman Sandra "Sandy "Adams, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser of AIFD, and Ophir Falk of the ICT in Israel.
"We are extremely grateful for the participants of this year's conference coming out and supporting us to make this year's event a complete sell-out," states Sol Bradman, SSI CEO, "despite the tough times we have had due to budget cutting for Homeland Security going on across the nation, we have had to turn people away. We anticipate some very fascinating presentations in this three-day educational conference and some controversy too."
"We are so thankful to the Sheriff of Osceola, Bob Hansell and the Sheriff of Leon County, Larry Campbell for providing us with help and support to make this event possible," continues Bradman.
Along with Osceola and Leon County, Orange County will be heavily represented. Delegates from the Federal, State and local agencies will be there. Florida's agencies such as FDLE, Fusion Centers, Police and Sheriff's Departments are sending delegates. More than 90 agencies will be attendance with some foreign US allies sending representatives.
HS Professionals are coming to learn about the cooperation between public and private security for homeland security, this year's theme for the conference. This is a unique networking opportunity for these professionals to meet each other - invaluable whether a natural disaster, criminal, or terror attack. There will be 12 speakers during three days and a vendor expo that is packed with companies that have been selected because they create products and services that contribute to the defense of the nation.
In an increasing climate of apology for the entire counter terrorism effort to defend the country, the conference seeks also to show that private groups in the USA are trying to torpedo counter terrorism training.
Unfortunately, with an administration that refuses to call acts of terror what they are, and substitutes "man-made incidents", "workplace violence", or as in Benghazi, blames attacks and murders of Americans on "YouTube videos" (that we now know were calculated, well planned acts of terror), it will be left to speakers such as Sandy Adams and Dr. Zuhdi Jasser to show that this is a policy influenced by groups that support terror and designed to weaken the USA. Ophir Falk, well known Israeli journalist and Research Fellow at the ICT in Herzlia, Israel, is coming from Israel to speak about what a nuclear Iran it may mean for the USA and Israel.
Media attendance is by invitation only:

Hospital Negligence Medical Malpractice
2012-11-01
A hospital is supposed to be a place where people can count on getting the highest standard of care. A hospital should gather together high-quality medical specialists in a way that allows them to work together to serve the needs of patients in a controlled environment with all the benefits of modern medical technology.
Unfortunately, hospitals have become something else. They have become, like most things in our modern society, machines whose primary--and possibly only--function is to manufacture profits for their owners. Hospitals seek to generate profit in many ways, ...
Symmastia After Breast Augmentation

Symmastia, commonly known as "bread loafing," "kissing implants," or "uniboob" is a rare aesthetic complication following breast augmentation. Symmastia is more common in thin women who have less tissue covering the sternum. However, any woman who is not working with an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon will be at an increased risk for this unfortunate complication.

Business Implications of Proposed Cyber Legislation
2012-11-01
A number of Internet laws that aim to protect intellectual property rights online have been proposed in recent months. While only one piece of legislation has passed, proposed bills could have implications for business owners.
ACTA: Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement
So far, the only recent cyber law to be passed is ACTA, which is really an agreement between nations rather than a law passed by Congress.
