The latest "who-dine-it" from Fools Entertainment will have a special Mexican flavor, as Mamacita's Restaurant & Cantina hosts "El Rancho Misterioso: A Murder-Mystery Novela."

Written and directed by Dave Cortez, the interactive murder-mystery dinner is set at the home of a wealthy Mexican family haunted by a mysterious curse that afflicts every maid to walk into their house, causing them to quickly walk out (or to die before they can). When the family's patriarch is found dead, the newest maid is among the many suspects in his murder, and guests must unravel the family's darkest secrets as they try to identify the killer. The cast includes Cortez, Nova Aragon, Mariel Gastelum, Richard C. Solis, and Melissa Zarb-Cousin.

As Cortez explains, the restaurant is an ideal location for Fools Entertainment's brand of Mexican melodrama. "When we decided to make our next show a telenovela," he says, "we knew that it could only happen at a Mexican restaurant. And we're very happy to be working with Mamacita's to bring these characters to life (and death). We've had a lot of fun producing the show, and I think our guests will have just as much fun trying to figure out 'who done it'!"
