Sunflower Systems Baxley Published in NPMA's The Property Professional Magazine

Sunflower Systems , the leader in enterprise asset management software and solutions announces that Robin Baxley, CPPS was published in NPMA's The Property Professional Magazine.

2012-11-03
SAN RAMON, CA, November 03, 2012 (Press-News.org) NPMA is the leading membership association for personal property and fixed-asset professionals. Baxley describes in her article titled, "From Student to Master: How a Trainee Becomes a Trainer", how she had been administering training to a diverse audience in different situations and discovered that even those who are not official "trainers" are often asked to perform training as part of their jobs. She also discusses how she draws from past experiences of tutoring and working in groups to train others. Her article also describes the methods she has successfully used to determine the most effective methods of training outside of a typical classroom environment and has developed a roadmap for those who find themselves training others when they least expect it.

She describes three simple steps in becoming an effective trainer:

1. Determine the level knowledge your trainee(s) already has and build on it.
2. Employ several different teaching methods to reinforce ideas since each person learns differently.
3. Remember that you are there to guide your trainee - so stay positive, patient and available.
