RALEIGH, NC, November 04, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Kroger Co. (http://www.kroger.com/), the nation's largest traditional grocery retailer with 16 stores throughout the Triangle and North Carolina, has announced its support of the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which is solely designated for victims of Hurricane Sandy. Coin collections will be set up for hurricane relief in all Kroger stores starting Saturday, Nov. 3 through Wednesday, Nov. 17, and 100 percent of the funds collected through check stand contributions will be donated directly to the hurricane collection. Customers can donate to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund online through http://www.kroger.com/.
