Introducing the Epicure Digital K-12 Outdoor Digital Menu Board System at the CSNA 2012 California School Nutrition Conference

Introducing the Epicure Digital K-12 Outdoor Digital Menu Board System on SunBriteTV All-Weather LCDs at the CSNA 2012 California School Nutrition Conference, Booth #305

2012-11-09
PASADENA, CA, November 09, 2012 (Press-News.org) Epicure Digital Systems, a leader in digital menu boards, introduces Outdoor Digital Menu Boards for K-12 SunbriteTV All-Weather LCDs at the CSNA 2012 California School Nutrition Conference, Booth #305

Epicure Digital has partnered with SunBriteTV to offer affordable outdoor menu boards as part of the Epicure Digital NutriSchool System. The boards will be shown in use at the booth.

The Epicure Digital NutriSchool system displays daily menus, nutritional data and labels, allergen alerts, and educational and promotional messages and graphics on indoor and outdoor digital menu boards, classroom smart boards, and district and individual school websites.

About half of all K-12 food courts in the U.S. are now outdoors. Also, many students queue from outdoors to enter indoor cafeterias. Outdoor menu boards are powerful, cost-effective tools worth considering as part of a school's signage.

"With so many kids outdoors, there is a need for an outdoor digital menu board and signage system," explained Mr. Friedman, President and Founder, Epicure Digital Systems. "Now, with the announcement from SunBriteTV of their affordable All-Weather line of LCDs, schools can have multi function boards that work as digital menu boards during meal periods, and when the cafeteria is closed and kids are in the yard, as multimedia communication boards. Food Service can use them to educate about nutrition and encourage breakfast and lunch participation, and administration can use them for announcements and alerts"

SunBriteTV has earned a reputation for toughness, durability and longevity with installations in some of the harshest climates in North America. Which is why SunBriteTV LCDs are the outdoor TV of choice for many professional sports stadiums including Yankee Stadium, Gillette Stadium, Wrigley Field, Soldier Field, Marlins Park and many others.

In Los Angeles, Epicure Digital recently installed SunbriteTV outdoor menu boards at the Hollywood Bowl.

Epicure Digital serves clients in many markets across the food service industry including K-12 schools, colleges and universities, hospitals, independent and chain restaurants, contract food service companies, business & industry, and cinemas and casinos.

The company's website (http://www.epicuredigital.com) has an extensive portfolio of its client's digital and online menu board projects.

Visitors to the CSNA California School Nutrition Association Annual Conference in Pasadena, 9-10 November 2012, Booth #305, will be able to view NutriSchool at the Epicure Digital booth on large daylight readable SunbriteTV LCD screens for outdoor menu boards.
