PEARLAND, TX, October 14, 2010 (Press-News.org) All the Liberty Mutual Invitational Golf Tournament needs is a few more teams and good weather on October 18th to make the tournament a huge success for Forgotten Angels, a Pearland-based non-profit that provides care and support to adults with developmental and physical disabilities. The tournament is being hosted by E-Z Line Pipe Support, LLC at Golfcrest Country Club in Pearland, TX.

Every golfer will receive a free pair of golf shoes at the tournament and a Liberty Mutual Invitational Gift Package. Stewart Cadillac is offering a 2011 Cadillac SRX at a Hole-in-One, and Liberty Mutual has prizes for other holes. Tournament events include lunch, a Tour of the World buffet, awards reception, and auction following play on the 18-hole golf club.

Celebrity players and guests include Golden Gloves Champion and a pest control expert, Maurice "Termite" Watkins; World Wrestling professional, Booker Tio Huffman better known as Booker T; and Cherita Andrews a recent contestant on the Biggest Loser. Other guests include Mike Rolando, manager of the Pearland Little League All Stars and Southwest Little League Regional Champs; Kevin Roblyer, Jeff Bettencourt and Scotti Toler; fathers of team members.

Local amateur golfers are invited to compete in one of two levels of play in a 4-person scramble. Registration and lunch begin at 11:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Level 1 requires a USGA Handicap Index (43.0 or more). Level 2 teams do not need USGA Handicap Indexes.

The top winning team on Level 1 will receive TaylorMade Golf Gift Cards as well as the opportunity to compete against other tournament winners from across the country in the National Finals at the Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, North Carolina, March 10-14, 2011. Other top winning teams will win prizes from; Liberty Mutual, TaylorMade, Adidas, Polaroid, Sports Vision Eyewear, Pinehurst Resort, and Golf Digest.
