COLUMBUS, OH, November 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) Since its launch on July 3, 2012, Applits LLC has gathered mobile app enthusiasts together via its website (http://applits.com) to collectively brainstorm app ideas and decide what apps the company will create next. Applits has partnered with app development platform Buzztouch (http://www.buzztouch.com) to handle the development side of app creation after the community expresses interest in an idea.
Applits site visitors can submit their brilliant app ideas to its monthly contest; the community judges the quality of all submitted app ideas, and the app that receives the most interest is developed by the company. Now, this development will take part in conjunction with Buzztouch. The person who submitted this winning idea receives a cash prize and continued royalties.
Buzztouch offers a hosted (or self-hosted) software that helps users create and manage iPhone, iPad, and Android apps. Buzztouch will utilize the partnership to showcase the flexibility of the buzztouch platform and how it can quickly and easily create mobile apps of any kind. Buzztouch hopes that developing one to two new high quality mobile apps per month in partnership with Applits will prove the efficiencies of its platform in comparison to other web-based "do-it-yourself app development" services.
In addition to this app development partnership, Applits and Buzztouch have engaged in a joint marketing effort. The two services complement each other very well, and this fact is being advertised on each site. For Applits users who submit their app idea to its monthly competition and don't receive many votes from the community, Buzztouch.com can be used to attempt to develop the app themselves. Alternatively, Buzztouch users who end up giving up along the way (due to lack of motivation, interest, or skill) can head to Applits for a much more simplified approach to seeing their idea become a reality.
Those interested in submitting their app ideas can go to the Applits website at http://applits.com and submit their idea within the current month's competition.
To set up a meeting or for more information regarding Applits, please contact Danielle Schemer at (440) 539-7829 or danielle@applits.com
Applits LLC is the first company to bring crowdsourcing to mobile application ideas. Based in New York, Applits was founded by co-founders Keith Shields and Joshua Tucker in July 2012 with the vision of giving everyday smartphone users a direct impact on future smartphone applications they will be using in their everyday lives.
