HCL Awarded Sole Supply Agreement with East of England Mental Health Network

LONDON, ENGLAND, November 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) HCL Thames Medics has announced a successful collaboration with the East of England Mental Health Network, comprising Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Trust and North Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

HCL Thames Medics will be the sole supplier to the East of England Mental Health Network, providing roles across all grades and specialties of the mental health spectrum such as general adult, forensic and rehab psychiatry and mental health nursing.

This landmark contract agreement, tabled in July, was secured by HCL Thames Medics after a competitive tender process.

HCL Thames Medics Managing Director Liz Bickley says she is thrilled with the win and looking forward to delivering the Mental Health Network measurable cost saving efficiencies without compromising patient safety.

"The mental health sector is in no way exempt from the latest government cuts, and HCL Thames Medics will be looking to deliver target savings of up to 15%," Ms Bickley said.

"We recognise the challenges the East of England Mental Health Network face and in this partnership we look forward to delivering their saving objectives whilst continuing to ensure the correct balance between cost efficiencies, compliance and patient care."
