FORT WORTH, TX, November 12, 2012 (Press-News.org) State Farm Agent Linda Allen takes her company's motto to heart. Like a good neighbor, Allen and her team are planning to collect non-perishable food items for the Community Link Mission Food Pantry on November 19, 2012.

The drive will take place at Linda Allen's State Farm office at 8101 Boar Club Road in Saginaw from 9 am until 5 pm. "Many Northwest Tarrant County families are having trouble putting food on the table for Thanksgiving," said Community Link Mission Food Pantry Director Karen Fuller. "The pantry is always in need of peanut butter and jelly, soups, canned vegetables, and canned fruit," said Fuller.

The event is good fun for a good cause. "We're going to have free face painting, fun photos, a chance to enter to win a Ford F-150," Allen said. "Our goal is to completely fill a Ferrari with food donations for Community Link Mission's food pantry," said Allen. The raffle for the Ford F150 is open to Texas residents over 18 and is part of State Farm's Fan Up Sweepstakes. DFW Drive Your Dream, a Fort Worth exotic-car-driving experience company, is providing the Ferrari.
