LAKE GENEVA, WI, November 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) Tracy Terry, President of Trust eMedia, an inbound marketing agency located in Lake Geneva, WI, will be judging entries for the 2012-2013 American Advertising Federation (AAF) of Dubuque, Iowa ADDY Awards Competition. Ms. Terry was chosen to participate as a Judge due to her expertise in social media and online advertising.
The ADDY Awards Competition is a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation. The ADDY Awards Competition is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition for creative excellence. The mission of the ADDY competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising. Across the nation, local entrants vie for recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local winners compete against other winners in one of 15 district competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national ADDY Awards competition.
Tracy Terry, along with a panel of other judges, will select the most creative entry in each category by means of a scoring process where all creative dimensions of every entry are evaluated. The number of awards given in each category will be determined by Ms. Terry and the rest of the judging panel based on the relative quality of work in that category.
"This is a tremendous honor," stated Tracy Terry, President of Trust eMedia. "The ADDY Awards is the most well-known and respected advertising competition in the nation. It's going to be a great experience. I can't wait to begin dissecting campaigns. I wish all those entering the competition the best of luck."
Occurring in conjunction with the prestigious ADDY Awards, the Student ADDY Awards recognize and reward creative excellence by students. Information on entering the Student ADDY Awards may be found by visiting http://www.StudentADDYs.com.
The ADDY Awards competition website for entry submission and registration can be found at http://www.addyawards.com. Local deadline information is available from each local AAF Chapter. Entrants must enter their local ADDY competition to be eligible for district competition.
Tracy Terry and a panel of other judges will review entries submitted by the Greater Dubuque advertising community in all areas of print, broadcast media, and public service advertising. The judging will take place at the Hotel Julien in Dubuque, IA from January 24 - 25, 2013.
About The ADDY Awards
Attracting nearly 60,000 entries each year nationwide, the ADDY awards have become the nation's largest and most comprehensive advertising competition. Sponsored by the AAF, the awards honor excellence in advertising and cultivate the highest creative standards in the industry. Each fall, the competition begins with contests in the nation's AAF member clubs, where entries must be submitted and judged to be eligible for the ADDY process. Local winners proceed to 15 regional competitions, and those winners, to the national finals. Proceeds from the ADDY Awards program on all levels of competition go back into the industry through the work of the AAF and its members, especially in the areas of advertising education and public service advertising.
