Wearing Religion on Their Sleeves - New Apparel Company takes the Bible to the Tee Shirt Culture

New apparel company, 19 Upstream, introduces the Bible into the indie tee shirt world. In a time when self expression wears well, 19 Upstream literally wears their faith on their tees.

2012-11-15
ARLINGTON, VA, November 15, 2012 (Press-News.org) New apparel company, 19 Upstream, introduces the Bible into the indie tee shirt world. In a time when self expression wears well, 19 Upstream literally wears their faith on their tees. 19 Upstream Christian tee shirts utilize clean designs and a high quality product to encourage Bible study and give people the opportunity to express their faith in a thought provoking, intellectual way.

Every tee shirt comes with a Bible study card, free downloadable study materials, and an opportunity to contribute to the ever growing 19 Upstream social network focused on knowing the Bible and sharing it with others.

Founded by two attorneys in Washington, DC, academic study came naturally to the husband and wife team. "We wanted a way to express our faith in an intellectual way and to let people know that the Bible is still relevant..." says co founder and owner Ray Kaselonis. Mr. Kaselonis added, "19 Upstream was born out of a love for Jesus and a passion to encourage others to know how the Bible applies to their lives today."

One of their most popular designs revolves around word studies such as, justified, sanctified, redeemed, and forgive. These straight line designs incorporate the Greek word and Strong's Concordance number for an in depth look at some fundamental doctrines pertaining to the Christian faith. Each design has a free downloadable Bible study available on the website, no purchase required. These downloadable studies list the Bible verses for that particular design. 19 Upstream goes a step further and includes a high quality reference card with the purchase of every tee shirt.

19 Upstream hopes to be a venue through which Christians will be encouraged, uplifted, and see their Bible knowledge grow as a result of the Bible studies they provide.

19 Upstream has received a tremendous response from well known Christian music artists, such as Newsong guitarist Rico Thomas, national youth leaders, and Christian ministries.

More information regarding 19 Upstream's mission as well as their Bible studies are on their website,www.19upstream.com. You can also contact 19 Upstream by emailing tees@19upstream.com or messaging them on their facebook page located at http://www.facebook.com/19Upstream.
