FAIRFAX, VA, November 19, 2012 (Press-News.org) Software Consortium (SCI), a leading information technology solutions and professional services provider, gained national attention earlier this year when its CEO was recognized as the Small Business Person of the Year for Maryland at SBA's National Small Business Week. To commemorate this achievement, SCI decided to give its website a facelift and partnered with LeapFrog Solutions (LFS), an award-winning marketing communications management firm based in Fairfax, Virginia, to assist with the project.
"We wanted a fresh look and a clear message that spoke to our client-focus, result-oriented collaborative style," said Software Consortium's Director of Marketing, Bonnie Raindrop. "The new website is easier for people from different industries and growth stages to understand the expertise and value SCI bring them and how our services are tailored to address the unique challenges of each group. SCI has a reputation for being a pragmatic innovator and the new website was designed to highlight our capabilities and experience."
The new http://www.softwareconsortium.com website was built using an open source MODX content management system to enable frequent updating of content and features by SCI's staff.
"We chose LeapFrog Solutions because of their creativity, disciplined process and work in both commercial and governmental sectors," said Janet Amirault, SCI's CEO. "They use a highly collaborative approach as we do, so we were able to partner with a great degree of efficiency and synergy. The experience of our teams working together was exciting, fun and highly productive. We are very pleased with the results of the partnership and proud of SCI's new website."
"Our challenge was to bring a visual image to SCI's website that fit their dynamic teaming abilities and exemplified their unusual adeptness at understanding, simplifying and solving their clients' complex problems," said LFS CEO Lisa Martin. "I think we succeeded in our goal and the website communicates the characteristics that make SCI such an extraordinary company."
