Weekend long birthday celebration for rising NBA Star looks to set DC ablaze

WASHINGTON, DC, November 21, 2012 (Press-News.org) Rising Star, Trevor Booker of the Washington Wizards, is turning the BIG 25! With success following him everywhere he goes, Booker is looking to celebrate this milestone event with family, friends, and supporters of his life and flourishing career. The invitation only event will be held at the exclusive Bar 901, November 23rd, where VIP guests will partake in a sophisticated private dinner reception. The red carpet affair will begin at 8pm with photo opportunities. Powered by Slam Magazine, Grey Goose Cherry Noir, Victory H20, FreeHan, Flight NY and Bar 901, this will be an extravagant affair you hope you were on the invite list for.

ABOUT TREVOR BOOKER
Rising star Trevor Booker was selected 23rd overall first round by the Washington Wizards in the 2010 NBA Draft. As a senior high school phenomenon, Booker was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for South Carolina, averaging 21.9 points, 16.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. Booker completed his high school as the career leader in rebounding and blocked shots. He then went on to play collegiate ball at Clemson University, were his talent flourished during his sophomore and junior seasons. Booker finished his career ranking fifth all time at Clemson with 1,725 career points and third with 1,060 rebounds. Booker also led his team to three consecutive NCAA Tournaments, where he was named First Team ALL- ACC and became the only player in ACC history with 1,500 points. In 2009 Booker was selected for all defensive team player, where he played for team USA in the World University Games, helping them to win a bronze medal.

As a Washington Wizard Booker has achieved recognition for his continued skills and has become a great asset to the team. With his confidence, heart, and passion for the game, Booker is a star in the making and a force to be reckoned with!
