Sunflower Systems Announces Expanded Mobile Material Management Functionality

SAN RAMON, CA, November 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) Sunflower Systems is pleased to announce the release of Sunflower Mobile Suite 4.7.0.0 which brings expanded materials management functionality to the handheld computer. Asset management professionals now have enhanced abilities to receive issue and adjust material within MobileTrak on the shop floor, warehouse or wherever field operations occur.

This latest release is Sunflower's 5th generation mobile software application which is used worldwide by more than 50 organizations and thousands of users. Sunflower MobileTrak
Provides fast and accurate physical inventory results on a powerful handheld computer. Customers are able to streamline their receiving processes and increase accountability by capturing item information on a mobile device at the point of delivery. MobileTrak also enables users to easily record multiple identifiers (linear barcode, 2-D data matrix, RFID) to individual assets in the field.

Helps customers improve and simplify excess asset pickup, lot management and the disposal process on a handheld computer.

Sunflower PackTrak
Increases accountability for assets in transit by scanning your assets as they are packed, shipped, received and unpacked.
Mobile Suite 4.7.0.0 is the first Sunflower product made available on the Motorola MC75A, allowing customers a greater variety of hardware options to fit their needs. For Sunflower customers who currently subscribe to an annual maintenance agreement, this powerful enhancement is available at no additional charge and can easily be downloaded securely along with related documentation from Sunflower's Customer Care website.
