WALDORF, MD, November 29, 2012 (Press-News.org) Dr. Gurpreet Sethi, Waldorf dentist, is pleased to be able to offer Invisalign treatment to his patients. Invisalign is able to straighten patients' teeth without many of the drawbacks associated with braces.
"I am very glad that our practice is able to provide Invisalign treatment to our patients. I know that many patients are interested in achieving a straighter smile but don't want to go through treatment with braces and Invisalign is a great and effective alternative. I hope that many of our patients will consider Invisalign treatment in the future," said Dr. Sethi, cosmetic dentist from Waldorf.
Invisalign uses a series of clear aligners to straighten patients' teeth. Dr. Sethi will take impressions, X-rays and pictures of the teeth in order to create aligners that fit perfectly to their teeth. Once the aligners are ready, patients will wear them on their teeth for between 20 and 22 hours per day, only removing them to brush and for meals. About every two weeks, they will switch to their next set of aligners and little by little their teeth will begin to move.
Invisalign aligners are totally clear so others are not able to tell when a patient is undergoing Invisalign treatment. In addition, they are removable, making it easy for patients to brush and floss their teeth as well as removing any restrictions on eating they may experience with traditional braces.
To schedule an appointment with Dr. Sethi for dental implants in Waldorf or another dental service, patients can either call (301) 396-3333 or use the online appointment request form that can be found on Dr. Sethi's website.
