Cary MacGregor Rotary Club Honors Staff of Citizens Convenience Center with Vocational Service Award

Center Recognized for Providing Exceptional Service to Local Community

CARY, NC, November 29, 2012 (Press-News.org) Cary MacGregor Rotary Club has honored the staff of the Town of Cary's Citizen's Convenience Center with the 2012 Vocational Service Award. The award, presented by the Club during a meeting to cap off Vocational Service Month, is given annually to an individual or group that provides exemplary service to the Cary community.

"We are proud to award this team for the exceptional and much-needed service they provide to the Town of Cary," said Donna Peffley, Cary MacGregor Rotary Club President.

The award was presented by former Cary Mayor Ernie McAlister and the Director of Vocational Service for the Cary MacGregor Rotary Club, Blaine Bowers. Chris Goodfellow, Dennis Fone, Joe Stewart, Leroy Wiggins, Travis Bullock and their supervisor Ted Zokowlski from the Town of Cary Convenience Center were all present to receive the award. Combined, these individuals have served the Town of Cary for more than 60 years.

"This team serves the citizens of Cary with a welcoming attitude and a demeanor that conveys the fact that they are proud of what they do and how they help others," said Ernie McAlister, mayor of the Town of Cary. "Their dedication and commitment over the years has proven them worthy of this recognition."
