Robb & Stucky selected to design interiors of model residence at Minto's Villas by the Sea

Award-winning Robb & Stucky Interiors providing beach feeling for oceanfront condo model in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Florida.

2010-10-15
BOCA RATON, FL, October 15, 2010 (Press-News.org) Robb & Stucky Interiors, located in Mizner Park in Boca Raton, has been commissioned by Minto Communities to furnish a new, two-bedroom, two- and one-half bath, 1,500-square-foot model residence at Villas by the Sea in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. Robb & Stucky designer Ron Acosta is heading up the project, which is anticipated to be completed by mid October.
According to Vivian Armenti, the Boca Raton showroom's design director, Acosta had created the interiors of a private residence at the new beachfront community. "When we gave representatives of Minto, the developer, a tour of the completed installation, they looked at Ron and said, right on the spot, 'You're the designer for our new model residence.' They greatly admired his work and, after we formally presented our vision for the model, Minto gave us the official green light to proceed with this project," she explained.
The design plan for the model residence was inspired by a chair called Hi Ho Cheerio, from Robb & Stucky's new, proprietary Caracole collection. Its bleached wood finishes are being incorporated into the design and mixed with other woods throughout to evoke a contemporary "California Beach" feeling, which is ideal for seaside living. The color palette is comprised of neutrals, browns, butter and white. Walls will have punches of terra cotta, and earthy green will be used in the bathrooms and for accents throughout. Sisal area rugs will add texture and warmth.
"When you have an outstanding location and unbelievable value for a new oceanfront villa, why not have it decorated by one of Florida's most respected companies - Robb & Stucky Interiors," said Minto Communities' Vice President of Marketing Glen Trotta.
Villas by the Sea is located two blocks north of Commercial Boulevard , east of A1A. Ranging in size from 1,164 to 2,600 square feet of air-conditioned living space, residences are offered from the $400,000s to $1 million.
