Sedu How To Steps from "Office Chic to Evening Glam":
Step 1: Separate the hair into small sections no bigger than the size of the iron width and brush out the rough of the hair. Run the iron over the hair quickly for a few strokes, pressing very lightly. You don't want to straighten the hair, but heating it up will help the style set better.
Step 2: Starting at the roots, wrap hair around the top end of the iron towards you (similar to a Marcel iron). Turn the iron 180 degrees, while pressing lightly and clapping the iron to allow movement. Run the iron up and down the section for 3-5 seconds.
Step 3: Remove the iron and cup the curled section in your hand to let it cool for a few seconds. Then twist the strand around your fingers to help set the wave. When finished run your fingers through the waves for a more tousled look.
Step 4: When going to after work event... simply take hair and make a low messy ponytail. You can do a little back combing at the crown for height.
