Fisher & Phillips' Jennifer Achtert Named to Top Women Attorneys in Northern California by Super Lawyers

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, December 08, 2012 (Press-News.org) Fisher & Phillips LLP announces Jennifer Achtert, Of Counsel in the San Francisco office, is named to the Top Women Attorneys in Northern California list by Super Lawyers.

The Top Women Attorneys list, published in the December issue of San Francisco Magazine, was compiled from both the 2012 Northern California Super Lawyers and Rising Stars designees. Achtert was previously named to the Northern California Super Lawyers 2012 Edition - Rising Stars, which recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the region.

Achtert handles employment-related litigation, including defending employers against claims of discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination and numerous other torts. She has represented public and private companies in a wide variety of employment matters, in both state and federal courts and before various state and federal agencies. Achtert also counsels employers on personnel policies, employment separation agreements and wage and hour issues. She earned her J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law (1998) and her A.B., with honors, from Brown University (1994).
