LONDON, ENGLAND, December 12, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Winter Wonderland Weekend is the best way to kick off your Christmas in London celebrations says LondonTown.com, the number one website for London, and it should know.
On the weekend of 8 and 9 December the WWT London Wetland Centre - a beautiful London park in its own right - will be transformed into a winter wonderland complete with Santa's grotto, huskies and fir and pine trees. The 105-acre wildlife oasis in Barnes boasts an array of walkways cutting through meadows and grasslands and past lakes and ponds. It makes for a truly spectacular Christmas setting and offers Londoners a chance to get out of the confined spaces of the central zones to a green - hopefully white with snow - haven just minutes from central London.
This family friendly Christmas extravaganza is set to be one of the best the capital has to offer for children. There will be free husky sleigh rides for children under eight with photographers on hand to capture the magic moment. Father Christmas will be cozy in his grotto, ready to welcome children with goody bags and festive cheer. Merlin the Magician along with his two gorgeous shire horses, Griffin and Pride, will be on hand to help the man in red fulfill his duties.
With Christmas arts and crafts sessions for children and adults alike and Christmassy treats like mince pies and mulled wine courtesy of the Water's Edge Cafe there will be no shortage of festive fun to be had. Tastings will be held throughout the weekend; adults can taste a collection of wines and children - and sweet toothed adults - can tuck into old fashion chocolates and sweets.
The entire event is free to enter, and Santa's Grotto costs just GBP5 per visit. More information about the Winter Wonderland Weekend and all the Christmas in London events can be found online at LondonTown.com.
LondonTown.com is also offering a number of discount deals on some of the capital's top hotels, many of which provide great access to the Winter Wonderland Weekend. The three star Ibis London Earls Court is a fine budget option made even more affordable thanks to an 11% discount. Another remarkably affordable option is the Kensington West Hotel London, less than 2 miles from the Wetland Centre and exceptional value for money when booked via www.LondonTown.com.

Firelight Fusion Still Holds Industry First Title with 50ml E-Liquid at Discount Prices
2012-12-12
While other e cigarette companies may claim to carry industry first in a lot of areas, most of it is hype as recently seen by other companies touting 50 ML e liquid sales as an industry first. The Firelight brand has carried bottles of 50ML e liquid since July of 2009 and sells them at a lower price point than other merchants and distributors.
"It is really a shame that other e cigarette companies make claims about being the first to do something when others have been doing it for years and at a lower price," states May Quintero of Firelight Fusion. "This ...

Now, scientists at the Salk Institute have determined the specific genetic switches that sync liver activity to the circadian cycle. Their finding gives further insight into the mechanisms behind health-threatening conditions such as high blood sugar and high cholesterol.
