Solo Foods Holds Sweetest 16 Recipe Contest

On December 10th, Solo Foods launched its "Sweetest 16 Recipe Contest". The contest is invite-only and features 16 successful online baking bloggers. The URL for the contest is www.Sweetest16.com.

CHICAGO, IL, December 15, 2012 (Press-News.org) The March Madness-style tournament awards the winner a $500 grand prize. Additionally, each recipe will be featured on Solo Food's blog and recipe archive.

Each contestant received a gift basket with Solo Foods products and was asked to create a unique recipe with photos. They then submitted their recipes and were paired up to go head-to-head in the first bracket. The first round turned out over 2,500 unique visitors and votes in a 60 hour period, and they now have an Elite 8. Voting ends December 16th at 9PM (CST) for round 2 which will determine the Final Four. The final matchup is set for December 19-21st.
