BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA, October 17, 2010 (Press-News.org) Business confidence continues to experience a decline since the full onslaught of the global financial crisis last year and businesses are struggling to cope with this long term issue.
âEURœThe most recent Commonwealth Bank Chamber of Commerce & Industry Queensland (CCIQ) Pulse Survey of Business Conditions showed that the Profitability Index in the June quarter continued to trend downwards, falling from 44 in the previous quarter to 39.5," said Neil Stenhouse, President of the Southside Chamber of Commerce (SCC).
âEURœBusiness confidence in the Australian economy had fallen sharply over the June quarter and our members report that the situation had not improved over the last few monthsâEUR, said Stenhouse.
The SCC has invited Ray Hodge, Director of Ignite Business Consulting to present at their next breakfast meeting on October 20, at The Glen Hotel, Eight Mile Plains to provide local businesses with the tools to help them overcome the current climate. Ray will explain the methods he used to go from $0 income seven months ago to now an annualised six figure income. Ray uses a very straightforward approach that most small businesses can benefit from.
âEURœBy understanding the key drivers of your business âEUR" no sex and sizzle âEUR" just the blunt facts of having crystal clear focus and the commitment to match, does not only reward the owner with the profits they desire, but also aligns their business to their core life valuesâEUR, said Hodges.
Previously, Ray has worked in Senior Leadership, General Management, Sales and Marketing and has successfully run his own businesses in the Finance, Accommodation and Consulting sectors.
The Southside Chamber of Commerce welcomes all who are interested in learning strategies to increase business profits in the current climate to register to attend the next breakfast at http://www.southsidechamber.org.au. Cost is $25 members $35 guests and non-members
