FOURTEEN GOLF Announces the New and Extremely Long TC-330 Irons will be Introduced at the 2013 PGA Merchandise Show

IRVINE, CA, December 19, 2012 (Press-News.org) FOURTEEN GOLF, a global leader in wedge and iron design with over 48 professional tour victories, announced today that the company will be introducing their new TC-330 Irons, a new series of irons that feature a progressive sole design with a deep set and low set CG, at the upcoming 2013 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida.

According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, "FOURTEEN GOLF is confident that golfers will be more than surprised at how much distance they can gain with these irons. Reaching the green on a 175-yard par three with a 7-iron is entirely possible."

The TC-330 Irons resemble a FOURTEEN GOLF iron with its sophisticated lines but the series is completely different than any other the company has developed. Subtle but highly effective features make the TC-330 Irons a "stand-out" amongst all irons. A low and deep CG combined with a wide sole head produces maximum distance and pure contact. The #4 through PW features a CG distance of 37.5mm. This ideal placement of the CG guarantees a transfer of power from the head to the ball at impact. As of today, the TC-330 Irons have the lowest CG (#5=15.9mm) and the deepest CG (#5=7.9mm) available.

For optimal forgiveness and playability, the TC-330 Irons are designed with a progressive sole so as the irons increase in length the sole widens or thickens by 0.65 inches. Essentially, the longer irons have a wider sole than the short irons which make every iron SO easy to hit.

A progressive swing weight compliments the progressive sole design on the TC-330 Irons to create optimal variances for optimal distance.

Because of the changing lengths of the TC-330 Irons, each iron looks unique and different. The long irons have a relatively shallow head shape while the shorter irons have a somewhat standard shape. Visually at address, golfers can see back of the club face in the middle and long irons because of the wider sole but shorter irons appear different but VERY easy to hit.

"The TC-330 Iron Series was designed for golfers with a 36-44m/sec club head speed. A super low CG, super deep CG placement, and an incredibly wide sole setting are a triple boost in bringing out the MOI that will ensure consistently stable shots. We can't wait to see the reaction we get when attendees at the PGA Show hit them," added Kamoda.

The TC-330 Iron set is available in a #4 iron through P. The contemporary and high performance head is manufactured from SUS-630 steel and is in compliance to the 2010 USGA groove rule. It is elegantly finished in a nickel chrome satin finish with a mirror cavity back. The NS 950GH HT steel shaft is available in both stiff and regular and suggested retail is $1,400.

FOURTEEN GOLF will showcase its new 2013 equipment line including the TC-330 Irons on Wednesday, January 23rd at the PGA Show Demo Day at the Orange County National Golf Center from 9:00am to 5:00am. To demo FOURTEEN GOLF equipment during the 2013 PGA Merchandise Show, the company will be exhibiting in the Equipment Testing Center at hitting bay #41. They will be participating for the entire show from Thursday, January 24th to Saturday, January 26th in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.
