Paddleboarding is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. The Paddleboard Chronicles will be a high quality publication that delivers suitable content aimed at the nucleus of the paddleboard market - the basic recreational paddleboarder who makes up the vast majority of the 1.5 million people who paddleboarded last year.
People are paddle boarding everywhere - lakes, rivers, oceans, and ponds. The growth curve for paddleboard participation has gone from steady to straight up, and The Chronicles believes that trend will continue. People are paddle boarding for fitness, for adventure, for leisure, and for the plain enjoyment of being on the water. We are also witnessing the integration of paddle boarding with other activities. We are seeing paddleboard specific yoga classes and clubs, and one of the newest developments is people fishing off paddleboards. People are even doing stand up paddle boarding in whitewater.
