PASADENA, CA, December 21, 2012 (Press-News.org) The moon is lost in space! Only 4.5 billion years old, Luna is going to need lots of help to make it safely back to Mother Earth in Liquid Entertainment's new iOS and Android game, Paper Galaxy.
According to witnesses, the curious little moon left orbit to chase a passing cosmic butterfly. Apparently, it's not the first time.
"My little moon is just going through a phase," a clearly distraught Mother Earth tried to explain. "It started back in '86 when Luna chased after that nice comet."
The wayward moon was last seen near a dense patch of stardust in a seedy sector of deep space where local inhabitants say a transient Crab Nebula is known to hole up.
"Mr. Crab Nebula is of the opinion that satellites should be seen and not heard," said a local gas giant. "Let's hope that poor moon doesn't run into him."
Cosmic explorers of all ages, properly equipped with an iOS or Android device, are urged to help Luna return home. A Solar Alert is in effect, so explorers can expect help from planetary pals throughout the galaxy. Caution is advised, though: wide berth should be given to hazardous suns and black holes.
"Luna's a bright moon, but she's curious and will orbit anything," said Mother Earth. "Please, help bring my moon back home!"

What started as a labor of love by employees in their off-time has become Liquid Entertainment's first mobile-only independent release. An indie game with heart, Paper Galaxy is a family-friendly title that offers a charming and challenging experience for players of all ages and skill levels.
Players control Luna, the lost moon, as she hops from planet to planet on her way back home. Each planet helps in its own unique way. Ride a Comet! Get blown away by a Gas Giant! Accelerate to hyper speed on a Ring Planet! But not everyone in the galaxy is so helpful... ornery suns, mysterious black holes and, of course, the cranky Crab Nebula are all out to make sure Luna never makes it back to Mother Earth.
During each jaunt through space, Luna collects stars, which can be exchanged for over a hundred different upgrades. Players who want stars faster can also purchase packs of stars. With each new upgrade, intergalactic travel becomes faster and more exciting. More than a hundred unique goals present an ever-changing series of bite-sized objectives to conquer. And for those who safely see Luna home, a whole new game mode is unlocked! Frolic mode presents endless opportunities to explore the galaxy and push the boundaries of the leader boards.
Available on December 20, 2012 for iOS and in January 2013 for Android devices.
