Jennifer Bisceglie Representing America's Business Leaders Abroad

Jennifer Bisceglie is part of a United States Delegation to Taiwan this week, partnering with The Heritage Foundation and The Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research.

2012-12-21
MCLEAN, VA, December 21, 2012 (Press-News.org) Jennifer Bisceglie, President and Chief Executive Officer of Interos, has been asked to represent America's business leaders as part of a United States Delegation to Taiwan this week. Joined by representatives of the 112th Congress, Jennifer is partnering with The Heritage Foundation and The Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER) to explore ways in which the United States, Taiwan and Japan can expand and diversify the reach of their economies. Each nation will be looking to engage one another in the exchange of ideas, best practices and perspectives. The U.S. delegation will also be reinforcing their goal of maintaining commercial relations with the people of Taiwan.

Taiwan faces exclusion from the Asia-Pacific trade community because of its troubled diplomatic status with the People's Republic of China, an actor with whom Japan's delicate relationship has also underscored the island's need for economic alternatives.

As a leader and innovator in the American business community, Jennifer will be discussing the power of business-to-business relations with both countries. Both Taiwan and Japan have vast amounts of room for growth, and business partnerships with both countries will greatly benefit the United States economy.

As an expert in cybersecurity, Jennifer will also be discussing the current supply chain risks from a global perspective—highlighting the importance of secure commerce between the three nations.

This delegation will be the ideal forum for fostering mutually beneficial trade relationships while building a foundation for international private enterprise cooperation.
