JACKSON, TN, December 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) Wireless provider MobileNation helped to make the holidays brighter for many children throughout the West TN area.
MobileNation teamed up with Jackson country radio station WYN 106.9 to collect toys for children through the Hope for the Holidays Toy Drive. There were 11 MobileNation locations that served as collection points.
The toy drive benefited the families served by The Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse. For some boys and girls, without these toys Christmas may not have come this year.
New, unwrapped toys were dropped off at MobileNation locations. On December 14, partners of the toy drive unloaded a trailer full of toys. That morning, hundreds of new toys filled up a room at the Exchange Club in Jackson.
Toys will now be provided to these families bringing much needed cheer this holiday season.
The Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse began providing services in 1981 from an office in Jackson. They now serve children and families in 18 locations across West TN.
MobileNation has 13 retail locations across Western Kentucky and Tennessee. In addition, MobileNation has multiple Authorized Agents across the area to service our members' needs.
