Dr. Chessie Green Discusses The Need For Appropriate Vaccinations And Which Types You Should Consider For Your Pet

2012-12-29
RALEIGH, NC, December 29, 2012 (Press-News.org) The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (www.ncvma.org) has announced the release of a podcast discussing pet vaccinations. Dr. Chessie Green, owner and partner at the Falls Village Veterinary Hospital and past president of the NCVMA, explains the types of vaccinations that are appropriate for different types of animals and why veterinarians recommend certain vaccinations for pets. She explains that while some vaccinations are recommended, there are others, including rabies vaccinations, are required in North Carolina by law for pet owners.

The podcast is available for download at: http://bit.ly/Uoat5R.

QUOTES:
"Just as we vaccinate ourselves from certain diseases, it is essential that we give our pets the same protection to ensure that they have the fullest and healthiest lives possible," said Dr. Green. "For some of these diseases, such as rabies, these vaccinations are also imperative and legally required for all pet owners to protect themselves and the public."
