Virginia Medical Acute Care Offers Limited Time Raffle

SPRINGFIELD, VA, December 30, 2012 (Press-News.org) While the flu season is still underway, Dr. Mark Davis strives to increase awareness to this common illness. In order to encourage more patients to receive their flu shots, Dr. Davis is excited to offer a special raffle. When patients get their flu shot in Springfield for only $10, they will be immediately entered to win an HDTV. This special prize is for a limited time only, and patients are encouraged to act fast.

"The single best way to protect against the flu is to get vaccinated each year. Influenza is a serious disease that can lead to hospitalization and even death in those that are high risk. Typically, Dr. Davis suggests that patients receive the flu vaccine during a tight period of time in October and November of each year. However, as more and more people want to immunize, the time period of availability has slowly been expanded.
