PHOENIX, AZ, December 30, 2012 (Press-News.org) Ace Air is proudly collaborating with Southwest Human Development of Arizona in efforts to collect new and gently used children's book donations for their literacy and early development program. In exchange for book donations, Ace Air will be providing their customers with a ten dollar discount on all heating tune-ups scheduled through the month of January.
Southwest Human Development is an organization here in the valley that provides services for health and early development for children with disabilities. They specialize in children ages birth to five, assisting in education and literacy programs, Easter Seals Disabilities services and general health and development. They were founded in 1981 by Ginger Ward, growing to serve nearly 135,000 children and families in Arizona.

Loic Hostetter is an Olive Tree Initiative core member and a third-year international development student at UCLA.
The grant, given every year, is aimed at students who have "demonstrated an exceptional interest in pursuing careers in the newspaper business in California," according to the California Newspaper Publishers Association website.
