Pullen Air Conditioning says it's time to put furnace safety on the front burner.

Pullen Air Conditioning, New Orleans' premier heating and air conditioning specialist, is encouraging customers to ensure their home's heating safety, comfort, and efficiency by having an annual furnace inspection performed.

2010-10-18
NEW ORLEANS, LA, October 18, 2010 (Press-News.org) Besides helping customers receive maximum value for their heating dollars, an annual furnace inspection can prevent any potential fires or carbon monoxide problems. If you have central air conditioning, you most likely have a central forced air heating system. Central forced air heating systems only emit carbon monoxide within the first 30-90 seconds of operation; carbon monoxide poisoning isn't the concern nearly as much as a fire hazard.

"Even a dangerous furnace will still heat your home. Nearly 100% of our customers with bad heaters are unaware of their dangerous furnace", says Eric Pullen, owner of Pullen Air Conditioning. "A cracked heat exchanger, typically undetected by customers, could be a serious fire hazard. It is important to have any fuel-burning heating source checked annually to make sure it's working properly."

A heating system that is not maintained is a problem waiting to happen. At the very least, operating costs could escalate due to inefficient use of fuel and the eventual need for repairs. In the worst case, improperly maintained equipment may compromise safety by causing dangerously high levels of carbon monoxide or serious fire hazard.

Pullen Air Conditioning, Inc. is a professional heating and air conditioning company that offers a full range of HVAC services. With a focus on honesty, technology, and customer service, they are staffed seven days a week and always available for free estimates and consultations. Today Greenwood is a public relations consultant in Kansas City, but in late 2003 he moved to Nebraska's Peru State College for a two-year stint as director of marketing and public relations. "When I worked in Peru, every day I'd walk past a plaque in the administration building that honored the college's former president and dean, who both ...

Why Are Dallas Web Designers Charging Less?

2010-10-18
These days there is a website designer around every corner in Dallas, some good and some not so good. Some charge so little you wonder how can they make a living?, or is it even worth their time? When I first started as a graphic artist 18 years ago, things were much different than today. A good website could cost over 100k, I can create a website for under 1K today. Computers and software have come so far that being a highly trained programmer is not so important anymore. Pre-designed templates have made things easy and Joomla and Wordpress websites make it even easier ...
