For many years, Grandmaster Dr. Tae Yun Kim has provided lessons in the martial arts to her students in California. She's proud to announce that her school, the Jung SuWon Martial Art Academy, has moved to a new address: 40480 Albrae St. in Fremont. This new location will allow Grandmaster Dr. Tae Yun Kim to reach even more students, as it's significantly larger than the previous location.
"Our class sizes have increased dramatically in recent years, and I wanted to make sure that each student had the necessary room to run, hit, kick and practice. Crowded classes make this very difficult, so I really wanted to make sure that our new space could accommodate as many students as possible, and that all students were comfortable during class," says Grandmaster Dr. Tae Yun Kim.
The new facility is 12,000 square feet, and it's equipped with padded mats made specifically for martial arts classes. Strength training equipment is included, as are focusing pads for kicking and punching.
"We also invested in some specialized equipment for our students, including foam swords and target bags," says Grandmaster Dr. Tae Yun Kim. "I wanted everything to be on hand, so my students could focus on their lessons instead of worrying about whether they'd have all of the tools they'd need to complete their exercises."
The Jung SuWon Martial Art Academy places a high premium on physical fitness, asking all participants to build up both strength and endurance. In order to support students, Grandmaster Dr. Tae Yun Kim also invested in weight machines, free weights, stationary bikes and more.
"My students will have access to some of the best fitness equipment in the world in this new facility, and I'll be there to help support and guide them on their path to fitness," says Grandmaster Dr. Tae Yun Kim. "Our environment is much more positive than a standard gym. We don't allow drugs or cursing or other forms of poor behavior in our facility, so people can come and work on their bodies without feeling their minds cluttered with negativity. I think it will be amazingly beneficial."
The new facility is only open to students, but the organization is currently accepting applications from people who want to get fit and change their lives.
"Anyone who is willing to work hard and focus will thrive in our academy," says Grandmaster Dr. Tae Yun Kim.
