CAI Announces January 2013 Greensboro Seminars And Development Programs

North Carolina HR Management Firm Offers Training For Area Business Professionals

GREENSBORO, NC, January 09, 2013 (Press-News.org) Bruce Clarke, president and CEO of CAI (http://www.capital.org), a human resource management firm that helps organizations maximize employee engagement while minimizing employer liability, announced the company's January schedule of training and development seminars. All courses will be held at CAI's Greensboro location at 7817 National Service Road, Suite 509, unless otherwise noted.

"CAI Training Showcase" is a one-day, complimentary training sneak preview. This event will include 45-minute segments of The Management Advantage and professional development programs. During the program, participants will discover how CAI can help increase the effectiveness of supervisors, managers and other company leaders through training, and will receive an exclusive look at CAI's newest programs. Training program topics will include building strategic relationships, leveraging emotional intelligence, managing problem performance and excelling as a business partner. Attendees will receive a free, catered lunch as well as the opportunity to win prizes such as free training sessions. "Ask The Expert: Changes To The Federal Rules Related To Background Screening" is a one-day, complimentary members-only program during which CAI's private investigator, Kevin von der Lippe, will discuss the federal laws that surround background checks and the changes that members should be prepared to handle. The program will focus on changes to the paperwork needed to comply with the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act and the steps needed to adhere to federal laws before and after background checks. Additionally, participants will spend time discussing the recent changes sparked by the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission guidance for background checks and will learn ways in which to avoid instances of discrimination.
