ST. GEORGE, UT, January 09, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Utah Alliance for Economic Development is hosting their annual Winter Meeting. This year's conference will be held in St. George, Utah on Tuesday, January 15th. As in years past, this meeting is designed to be in conjunction with the annual What's Up Down South Meeting.
The Utah Alliance for Economic Development is a statewide organization of economic development professionals. Their membership includes representatives from state and local government, utility companies, real estate firms, large and small scale development firms, staffing companies, law firms, and private economic development. The main goal for the organization is training, networking and making Utah a better place to work and live.
Matt Marshall, Director of Sales for Golden Shovel Agency, was asked to speak at this years Winter Meeting to help educate on how to leverage an Economic Development website and social media profiles to market communities.
