Klose Training & Consulting to Provide Manual Lymph Drainage Certification Training February 18 - 23 in Raleigh, North Carolina

LAFAYETTE, CO, January 10, 2013 (Press-News.org) Klose Training & Consulting, a lymphedema certification and education company, will provide professional training for Manual Lymph Drainage certification at The Medical Arts School in Raleigh, NC, February 18 - 23, 2013. The educational program will provide training for occupational therapists, physical therapists, and massage therapists to obtain certification in Manual Lymph Drainage.

This training will be hosted by The Medical Arts School. As noted on The Medical Arts School Website, "since 1998, The Medical Arts School has been accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET). Originally approved by the North Carolina Community College System, the school is now approved and governed by the North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy for massage therapy and by the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Arts Examiners for esthetics."

Klose Training's Manual Lymph Drainage certification course totals 45 hours of classroom (lab) instruction. Course curriculum includes full training in the four components of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD); Anatomy, Physiology, Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) application techniques and Indications/Contraindications for the practice of MLD.

Course instructor is Nicola McGill, LLSA, LMT, NCTMB, CLT, has over 15 years experience in the field of massage and bodywork both here in the U.S. and also in the U.K. She is a graduate of the London School of Aromatherapy and received diplomas in Reflex Touch and Manual Lymphatic Drainage in in Professional Practice at Angelia Polytechnic University, U.K. In her clinical practice, Nicola utilizes her bodywork skills as an Aromatherapist, Massage Therapist and MLD practitioner to treat a wide range of medical conditions, both chronic and acute, including conditions related to respiratory, digestive, muscular-skeletal, nervous, and reproductive systems. She also provides individual Aromatherapy consultations for clients requiring customized blends used for skincare and general health promoting practices.
