Brookfield to Release Highly Upgraded, Eco-Friendly Model Homes at Rockrose This Weekend

The three model homes boast designer touches and eco-friendly features ranging from wood flooring to solar panels.

FILLMORE, CA, January 12, 2013 (Press-News.org) Rockrose, Brookfield's community of detached, eco-savvy homes in Carlsbad, is nearing sell-out. This weekend, the builder will release its final residences—three model homes with designer and eco-friendly upgrades inside and out. Model homes are priced from $724,900.

"The models at Rockrose have handsome upgrades such as wrought iron staircases, designer selected wood or tile flooring and fully-landscaped yards that make them absolutely stunning," said Debby King, director of marketing for Brookfield Homes. "On top of that, these homes are loaded with environmentally-friendly features like tankless water heaters that extend value to buyers over time."

Each model offers an extensive list of upgrades, which may include:

• Upgraded stainless steel appliances
• Upgraded countertops
• Designer wood or tile flooring
• Upgraded staircase
• Designer paint
• Photovoltaic solar systems worth $10,000

Environmentally friendly touches at the models include energy and water conservation features, waste reduction, improved air quality and sustainable building materials.

The models range from approximately 2,732 to 3,167 square feet with three or four bedrooms and two to 4.5 bathrooms. Each model represents a different floor plan and architectural style, including English Country, Mission or Italian Tuscany.

Within walking distance of the models is The Foothills' Swim Club, equipped with a pool, paddle tennis courts, fireplace, barbecue and more. Rockrose homeowners will also have access to a new high school across the street from The Foothills, which is set to open in fall 2013.
