BATON ROUGE, LA, January 13, 2013 (Press-News.org) VarTech Systems is offering cost-efficient, rugged configurations for military use of their entire product line where similar, expensive products are used. The effort to offer this line of industrial display monitors and computers comes from a need to better serve our military and government. This is being done by insuring the accessibility and affordability of mission-critical equipment during a time of budgetary restraint with even more budget cuts being projected for the Pentagon in the near future. VarTech's line of products geared to the military, marine and naval markets include panel pc touch screen computers, small form factor vehicle mount mobile computers and fully enclosed shock-resistant all in one LCD computers.
Monitors in all mounting configurations are also being offered in these configurations including rack mount, panel mount, chassis mount, VESA 100mm mount and rugged table top displays. Several features can be added to make these products more suitable for military applications. All-in-one LCD computers and small form factor PCs can be built with solid-state (SSD) hard drives, shock mounting provisions and various DC power configurations making them ideal for mobile applications where excessive shock and vibration conditions are present. All touch screens and displays can include VarTech System's Armor Touch; a revolutionary, anti-glare, scratch resistant, 3mm thick touch screen technology that is optically bonded, impact resistant, highly accurate and water repellant. LCDs and touch screen computers are designed to accommodate external manual dimming knobs which provide quick display illumination dimming and brightening from 0 to 100%, when more or less display brightness is critical and immediately needed. Optional EMI windows are available to provide high visual optical transmissivity while reducing the conduction and susceptibility of harmful EMI/RFI, which can temporarily impair or irrevocably damage some electronic equipment.
VarTech Systems also has an entire line of LCD displays already devoted to military operations such as the Phantom Series 17 and 19 inch rack mount display monitors and the DiamondVue Extreme series panel, wall and rack mount monitors ranging from 20.1 to 21.3 inch models. The All-Weather All-Terrain series is especially suited for military and harsh environment conditions boasting a fully-sealed IP67, fully submersible, water proof construction with a 1500 nit sunlight readable LED backlit flat panel display equipped with advanced deep dimming to black.
VarTech Systems Inc. is an ISO 9001 registered company specializing in the manufacturing of military, marine and industrial grade displays and computer workstations.
