As it currently stands, the Braves have a couple players at their disposal, but making the final decision seems to be a tough one for the coaches to make. Ultimately, they must decide whether to add a new player to the roster, or rearrange their existing lineup to meet their needs. Both options present advantages and disadvantages. Who is in the lineup?
The current roster sees Martin Prado at the top of the list. Prado currently holds the left field spot, and has been excelling in this role. The team managers could leave him here, but are strongly considering the option of moving him to 3rd base (a move that could give them a competitive advantage). If the latter route is chosen, they are leaning towards bringing in a free agent like Emilio Bonafacio, Mark DeRosa or Evan Gattis. B.J. Upton is the agent of choice, however, but the deal has not been set in stone.
