Safestyle UK Launch New Wave of TV Ads

The company that invented the famous BOGOF deal is set to release more of its cult TV adverts.

2010-10-20
LANCASHIRE, ENGLAND, October 20, 2010 (Press-News.org) WINDOWS and doors specialist Safestyle UK is launching a new wave of its cult television adverts.
The company that invented the famous BOGOF (Buy One, Get One Free) catchphrase is about to hit Britain's screens with more of its catchy promos.
And former soap star Ken Morley, aka Coronation Street legend Reg Holdsworth, and "Safestyle Window Man" Jeff Brown are reprising their roles in the famous ads.
Ken and Jeff have already provided a series of seminal television moments in the adverts over the years, which have captured the imagination of TV lovers.
Now bosses at Safestyle UK, the biggest independent provider of uPVC replacement windows and doors, are excited that the pair are returning to appear in the latest round of TV promos to plug their pioneering deals for customers.
A Safestyle UK spokesman said: "Filming has taken place for the ads and we are delighted with the end result.
"Our ads always get people talking. They are certainly unforgettable. And with Ken Morley and Jeff Brown in the latest ones, we are certain the watching public won't be disappointed. Whether you love them or hate them, people will always remember a Safestyle UK ad.
"It's interesting to see how our BOGOF offer has been copied by so many other companies, and it's still the No. 1 deal for customers."
Safestyle UK is the largest independent provider of high quality and affordable uPVC double glazed windows and doors in the country. Its adverts have previously won the prestigious G05 Award for Best TV Campaign and have also featured other celebrities such as Cannon and Ball, Cheryl Baker and the late Frank Sidebottom.
"Window Man" Jeff burst on to screens in 1999 in his infamous "Pushover" ad, with his loud and brash East Lancashire accent making the BOGOF phrase known in homes across Britain. He was such a hit he was hired to do another promo in 2003, in the memorable "Swinging Windows".
Safestyle UK, which launched in 1992 with just GBP2,000 capital, has enjoyed rapid growth and installed more than GBP100million of energy-saving windows, doors, composite doors and patio doors in homes across the UK last year.
Part of the Bradford-based Style Group, Safestyle UK now has 40 branches across the country to satisfy huge demand for its products.
It has an exclusive internet offer on its BOGOF deal. People can visit http://www.safestyle-windows.co.uk/ for more information.
