New Owners at Hamilton Topper's Pizza

Busy Upper James Location Sees Change in Ownership

2013-01-20
HAMILTON, ON, CANADA, January 20, 2013 (Press-News.org) Two new faces have been spotted at the Upper James Street Topper's Pizza in Hamilton, Ont. Nippinder Singh and his wife Nupur have assumed ownership of this busy Hamilton location, formerly owned by Gus Karouzakis, who still currently owns three other Topper's Pizzas in the Hamilton & Burlington region.

Singh and his wife relocated to Canada from Punjab, India, in 2011. Actively looking for a business opportunity once they arrived, the Singhs very quickly knew which direction they wanted to go once they tasted a Topper's Pizza.

"My sister-in-law had always told us how delicious Topper's Pizza is," said Singh. "We loved it as soon as we tried it and immediately believed that this was a company we wanted to invest in. We were also very impressed with Keith Toppazzini. Once we met him and the support team, we knew that we couldn't pass up the opportunity to be involved in this exceptional company."

Although the Singhs are still getting acclimated to the demands of this popular food-service business, they are already talking about future plans that could very likely involve multiple locations.

"We couldn't be happier that Nippinder and Nupur decided upon Topper's Pizza as their business of choice once immigrating to this country," said Keith Toppazzini, president of Topper's Franchise Company Inc., owner of the Topper's Pizza brand. "This is just another great example of how our food and company philosophy impress potential franchise partners enough to invest their hard-earned capital into a franchise of their own."

The Singh's Topper's Pizza is located at 1400 Upper James Street, Hamilton ON L9B 1K3; 905-387-7171.

About Topper's Pizza

In 1904, the Toppazzini bakery was a successful local business in Sudbury. Today, the Toppazzinis have earned their place as 'the first family of pizza' with a growing pizza franchise and a province-wide chain of stores that is aiming to reach 250 in the next seven years. To learn more about Topper's Pizza franchise opportunities, visit http://www.toppersfranchise.ca or contact Topper's Franchise Company at 877-558-5581.

"Our brand is all about returning to our roots," said Toppazzini. "My great grandfather started the tradition of serving 'amazingly delicious' baked goods more than 100 years ago and we're proud to continue his legacy."
